150mm Cast Iron Wheel 500kg Capacity Castor (S6240D)

The S6240D by Richmond is a swivel frame castor and is fitted with a cast iron wheel. This swivel castor is part of our 500 series range and has a maximum capacity of 500kg. The S6240D wheel is fitted with ball bearings. The swivel frame design of this castor allows the castor to swivel 360°. The overall cast iron wheel diameter is 150mm, the wheel width is 45mm and can be ordered separately (Ci601). For the same castor without a direction lock, see S6240. This castor includes a directional lock  – This feature locks the swivel direction of the castor but still allows the wheel to turn. When the directional lock is released, full swivel function is returned to the castor. Castors with a directional lock are indicated by a ‘D’ at the end of the castor code.

Description

The 500 Series is designed and manufactured for heavy duty applications including low speed, medium weight towing up to a maximum speed of 6kph. A sealed precision machined ball race ensures the swivel movement is kept clean and smooth.
