The S8000 from Richmond Rolling Solutions is a swivel frame castor and features an SG Iron wheel. This swivel castor is part of our forged head series range and has a top load capacity of 1500kg. The S8000 uses ball bearings for wheel rotation. The swivel frame of this castor allows the castor to swivel 360°. The semi pneumatic wheel diameter is 200mm, the wheel width is 75mm and can be ordered separately (SG822).
Applications including transport and logistics, heavy machinery, warehousing equipment and mobile platforms rely on the extreme shock loading, robust durable king pin, drop forged steel baseplate of Richmond's Forged Head Series for loads up to 1500kg. Truly a great all round castor for those heavy duty applications requiring a towable option, zinc plated for corrosion resistance and the ability to withstand daily abuse that will not compromise performance.
