100mm Polyurethane Tyre on Cast Iron Centre Wheel 200kg Capacity Castor

The S4048B from Richmond is a swivel frame castor and has a polyurethane tyred cast iron wheel. This swivel castor is one of our 300 series plate range and has a maximum capacity of 200kg. The S4048B is assembled with ball bearings on the castors axle and is plate mount. The swivel frame design of this castor allows full swivel rotation to enable steering. The polyurethane tyred cast iron wheel diameter is 100mm, the wheel width is 38mm and can be ordered separately (PU449). For the same castor without a brake, see S4048.

Meeting and exceeding all performance standards due to a higher load bearing capacity, the 300 Series has a wide range of uses. A nylon wheel in a 300 series is most common for industrial and trolley applications, a rebound rubber wheel is ideal for road cases and transportable crates whilst a poly nylon wheel is best suited to undercover and showroom displays. Cast Iron, Poly Cast Iron and Aluminium wheels are also available with this series.
