The R8089 from Richmond is a rigid frame castor and is fitted with a cast iron wheel. This rigid castor is part of our 1000 series range and has a maximum capacity of 1000kg. The R8089 wheel is fitted with ball bearings. The rigid frame allows for steering only when used with swivel castors. The diameter of the cast iron wheel is 200mm, the wheel width is 50mm and you can order separately (Part Number: Ci852).

Description

A 1000kg load rating provides an economical alternative to heavier load bearing castors. The ability to be towed at a 6kph by tugs and tractors enables Richmond’s 1000 Series to be used on mobile platforms, aviation trolleys, automotive assembly lines and production manufacturing plants. The polyurethane cast iron wheel type with a rolling diameter of up to 300mm not only enhances maneuverability but decreases rolling resistance. Like most Richmond heavy duty castors, our 1000 series has a precision machined ball race and high tensile steel kingpin to withstand side impact loads.
