300mm Twin Wheel Swivel Extra High Performance Castor (S1241B)

The S1241B from Richmond is a swivel frame castor and is fitted with 2 polyurethane tyred cast iron wheels. This swivel castor is part of our extra high performance series range and can safely take loads up to 3000kg. The S1241B uses taper roller bearings for wheel rotation. The swivel frame design of this castor allows the load to be steered. The diameter of the polyurethane tyred cast iron wheels is 300mm, the wheels width is 2 x 100mm and can be ordered separately (PU1203). This model can also be ordered without a brake (part number S1241).

Description

In a class of its own, the EHP series outperforms all rivals no matter how tough the circumstances. Developed using Richmond’s 6 decades of castor know how, features include a large opposed taper roller bearing swivel head and precision robot welded fully sealed construction to give a long life without costly breakdowns. The EHP series are fully towable at speeds up to 16kph on flat surfaces without obstacles, making them ideal for work in heavy duty applications. The castor’s twin wheel design not only increases surface contact but controls the rolling speed of each wheel when turning and manoeuvering.
